fetal doppler

I know this has been addressed plenty of times, but I would like a more current answer...

What is a reputable place to purchase a fetal doppler? Are they able to be purchased at Babies R Us? I have also looked on Amazon but haven't found any, are there any available on there?

You can buy one at babies r us however they are not very sensitive and are not able to pick up the heartbeat until around 26 weeks. i bought mine off ebay and i got a sonoline b there are a lot of good sellers on eBay (i got it from a business) and you can also try other sites by typing in the brand you want in the shopping section of google. i would be sure to check the sensitivity of the doppler as well. i use a 3 hz and i believe the doctor also uses a 3hz and i have heard the babies heart beat since 12 weeks (would have been able to sooner however i didnt get it until i was 12 weeks) i hope this helps a little. god luck.

Simple...amazon.com order the Sonoline B. That's the one most of us use and since.you are on this board I assume you are second trimester so it should work like a charm. When you run out of gel just stop at the pharmacy and grab some aloe vera gel.
