Anyone had a CVS, and baby was healthy

I had my first scan at 11w 3d, babies NT measured at 6.14 instead of the normal 3.6. I had some bloods taken that have came back as a raised risk of Down's syndrome. I have my CVS booked for Tuesday. My question has anyone had this and baby been healthy?

I had a measurement of 3mm on my NT scan, which they were concerned with. My husband and I decided to have a CVS last Friday so we have a definitive answer. The ultrasound tech at that appointment said the neck area looked really thin. I know there are definitely false positives on the NT scan and obviously it's all interpretive by the doctor and tech. We should have results late this week or early next week from our CVS. I know this doesn't answer your question since we don't have results yet, but thought I'd chime in about our experience. Thinking good thoughts for both of our little ones!

Sending you lots of positive vibes!! Thank you for sharing... I sitting on the docs office waiting for NT ultrasound results but she said the Bloodwork and analysis takes a few weeks. It's been 1 week since the test.

I'm sure your baby is just perfect and sorry I couldn't contribute to your question. Keep us posted!

I had a cvs 4 times now, as I am a carrier of a fatal genetic condition. I have two healthy girls and am pregnant with a healthy boy now! I did lose one pregnancy to to the disease. It was my second pregnancy. I'd like to say I'm a pro at cvs tests now lol, but the wait is the hardest and most stressful part. Good luck to you.

Tomorrow will be 2 weeks since I had my CVS test.  No results yet, but so far so good.

I just wanted to update. We got the results of our CVS today and our baby has a normal karyotype, so no Down syndrome or any other trisomy! Hoping you get good news as well!

Hi I a going through the same. Had a nuchal fold reading of 4.6 Thursday and had CVS Friday. Waiting for result. So did they say what is wrong with your baby to cause the thick nuchal fold?
