Had my midwife appointment today, 18 weeks, and my uterus is measuring ahead a bit (2cm)- I'm not worried just curious if this is normal because of subsequent pregnancies?

This is my 4th and i havnt had that issue..did u have a dating scan?

Are you referring to fundal height? I'm very petite. My last pregnancy (#2) I measured 8 weeks ahead the whole time but the ultrasound always remained on track.

Hi thanks for the replys, yes I've had a scan at approx 7 weeks (dating scan) and at 12 weeks. My midwife said luckily I had 2 scans already so we know it's not twins causing it to be ahead haha.

I'm on the larger side, I can't remember this in my previous pregnancies but I will lool through my maternity notes and check
