Expected due date January 6th 2016, 1 day late when I took it yesterday, very dark positive! But my "period" in April was only 13 hours long. Has anyone else had this? Anyone else due around this date? Would it be too early to tell if I was only 3-4 weeks? How long have you been TTC?

I had that with this pregnancy and my last pregnancy with my daughter. Spotted enough to put a T in but didn't even fill it (tmi) then it just stopped the next day

Can you tell us more about your period like bleeding in April? What colour was it, did you have much cramping? Do you chart your cervical position or discharge? Did you happen to take a pregnancy test before you started your period in April? It is possible that your April period wasn't a period, but vaginal bleeding due to a couple of different things. It could have been ovulatory spotting, implantation bleeding, or just plain old early pregnancy vaginal spotting at the time when your period would have been due.

The only way you'll really be able to tell at this point is by 2 consecutive beta draws or a dating u/s.

My EDD is the 4th, and we had been TTcing for 2 months.

I got a very vivid, dark positive a week before my expected menstrual date. My
cycle length is 31 days and my last menstrual date was April 3^rd and
only lasted three days. The length of your flow effects when you drop your egg
and that could change when implantation happens, but it doesn’t change how far
along you are – technically.

 

My due date is January 8^th. I’d say you are just fine and that you
shouldn’t worry.

 

Oh, and my husband and I had been TTC for over a year.

I had Mirena taken out at the end of March. April 7th I had bright red bleeding, but only for half the day. Then, just very light spotting on and off for the next couple days, but literally only maybe once a day. That's the date that seems most likely as my LMP and i'm measuring right around four weeks. I received a fairly dark line in my pregnancy test four days prior to my missed period. So. We found out last Monday and my EDD is approximately January 12th. 

Long story short. Even a very light period early in April will show a BFP at this time if you're in fact pregnant
