January 2016 Moms

hi mommas!!! I have a question.

So Im 4 weeks pregnant and super excited. But I've been wondering about something. Im in my 30's and in jan got pregnant for the first time EVER. I have never really took birth control and me and my husband havent tried to not have kids either. I just firgured I couldn't. Anyways in feb. I miscarried. The baby never developed. I was devastated. Well to my shock and pleasure we are pregnant again. This time feels different I already have been waves of dizziness and nauseous. Has this happened to anyone elsa? It just seems I got pregnant really fast after the first time. It all seems strange I've never been pregnant and now twice. We have also wanted childern just didn't think it could happen and now im in shock but also scared to get to excited.

Re: hi mommas!!! I have a question.

  • I have struggled to get pregnant and now I am, feel nervous too! I think we just need to enjoy the ride. I think it's totally normal to feel all sorts of things.

These first few months will be nerve recking. When do you have your first scan where you are?

Mines at 6 weeks which I know is earlier than most places but can't wait to see the baby I think it will make me feel a lot better

Im 4 weeks and 4 days. I'm not doing a ultrasound for awhile. I'm callung my mudwife today thou just to make sure she has a spot for me. Congratulations to you!!! My emotions were the first sign. That and peeing. Lol
  • Try not to stress. We had been trying for baby number 2 for 8 months as our daughter will be 7 soon. we finally got a positive and I miscarried the very end of march and am already 5 weeks and 4 days pregnant! Good luck!

Thank you!! And congratulations to you!!!
  • I know how you feel. I had a miscarriage in March and am now 4 weeks pregnant. I'm so nervous but just trying to be thankful for this little life. Hugs.
  • Ah yes the peeing! That was my very first and only real clue.... Then 2 days ago I had a terrible vomiting morning but thankfully that's not happened since!!

I am sure the appointment wil give younsomethg to feel excited for
  • I miscarried in September (on my first round of clomid), and it took 3 months for the bleeding to stop and my HCG to go back to normal. I started monthly acupuncture in January, and got my BFP last week. We are so excited, but definitely terrified. I feel significantly worse this time, which I totally love. I would rather be nauseous 24 hours and day and confident that this little bean is growing! Fingers crossed for us all!
  • Wow. I love how candid all you ladies are. What a sweet support group!

To answer your question- I'm already feeling the nausea. This is baby #2 for me and with my son (now 18 mos) I was nauseous pretty much the whole time I was pregnant. This doesn't feel quite as intense yet, but it's definitely there, even at 5 weeks.
  • Been trying for baby number 2 for about 2 months found out I was pregnant yesterday morning about 5 weeks (unconfirmed by ultrasound) first appt. June 2nd! Should be around 9 weeks by then. Good luck ladies!

Please keep in mind that everyone's experience is different and has no bearing on our body/situation.

MY DH and I also had a CP in February.  We confirmed positive pregnancy with the Dr on Friday and that following Sunday I MC.

MY DH and I are currently 4w2d with an EDD of 1/13.

While it isn't uncommon for someone to get pregnant soon after a MC, it does take a healthy couple up to 1 year to conceive with each cycle having a 20% chance of conception.  Congratulations on conceiving so soon. :)

    Edit: Because words suck.
