Thoughts about laying on belly

I lay on my belly sometimes. I have a bump but am still comfortable in this position for up to an hour. I'm 17 weeks, thoughts?

  • As long as your comfortable, I don't see the problem. There will come a time it is very uncomfortable.

As long as you're comfortable, it's fine. My belly is now off limits at 18 weeks.

I am 18 weeks and I sleep on my stomach most nights. It's still comfortable.

  • I'll be 17 weeks tomorrow but I haven't been able to lay on my stomach without at least my arm under me for the last few weeks. As long as you're comfortable or can take pressure off if you're uncomfortable you're fine.
  • I sort of sleep on the side of my stomach at 18w. I'm glad I'm still comfy this way but I'm sure it's not going to last much longer.
  • I'm the same as spraklepea - I have always fallen asleep kind of between my side and belly.  It is still comfortable for now - but I have a feeling it might not last too much longer!!!

I love laying on my belly...especially to lay out and get a tan :) I'm going to do it as long as I can!
  • I use a pillow as a prop and do kind of a side/belly position. I have slept like this for as long as I can remember. I can no longer lay flat on my belly on a firm surface. One hip bone no longer touches the ground and I find it uncomfortable! I did dig a small depression in the sand so I could lay and tan comfortably!!
