When Can You Hear Heartbeat With Stethoscope?

I don't have a doppler and I will be 16 weeks on Monday, I just hate going so long without hearing my baby girls heartbeat, sometimes when I have good days I worry that something can be wrong. I still feel the stretching and I have morning sickness still just not as frequent and the headaches, I just want reassurance that she is in there!

I did read that you can with a very good (expensive) stethoscope reliably after about 20 weeks or slightly earlier with a fetal horn. I hope that helps.
