Newbie Intro

Hello ladies! Thought I'd pop in and say hello since I've been lurking around for awhile. 

I'm 22, SO is 28 and I'm on my first cycle off of BC. We aren't actively TTC yet (He's not quite ready to get me KU yet :-SS ) but we agreed to stop the BC and see what happens, then start really trying soon. I want to get myself ready to start TTC by taking prenatals and start temping and using OPKs so I can get very familiar with my cycles. And I have to say I'm really excited! I'm fascinated by all the things I can do to get ready for a baby. 

If anyone has any advice for me and SO as far as preparing to TTC in the near future I'd be so appreciative! You all are lovely and I really enjoy this site. Thanks for having me!! :D

    Welcome, I personally have learned a ton by checking out older threads in this forum. Taking charge of your fertility by Toni Wechsler is also a very good read and popular with this site.

    Lurk around the board - you'll see a lot of discussions about temping and charting your cycles with the use of FertilityFriend.com

    Go ahead and get yourself a copy of Taking Charge of Your Fertility and a BBT

    Start taking prenatals

    Drink more water/stay hydrated

    Sex every other day during your fertile window
