Cramps and bleeding again???

I had a d&e 15 days ago. Crazy heavy bleeding for a while, then spotting Tues, Wed, Thurs, then nothing Friday. Thought it was all over, then this afternoon I had cramps and started bleeding again. I just googled it and apparently you can get your period as early as two weeks after a d&e, but this might just be the post-d&e bleeding again. My doctor said to call him if I didn't stop bleeding by yesterday. Looks like I'll be making a call on Monday. 

What the heck is going on inside me...

P.S. It's been 8 days since I had any cramps, so that's what is really making me wonder.

I started bleeding and passing clots 2+3wks after the D&C when I called the doctor they said it was most likely due to my hormones dropping, and that they would call me back if there was anything else I needed to know. They never called me back but I cramped all this week and have been pretty sore around my abdomin overall. Anyway hope everything is okay with you.

@CarrieandRoy I'm sorry, I know you've dealt with so much bleeding already. Hope it is your period. That would be kind of awesome. I've been feeling like I'm ovulating...had a couple days of EWCM and ovulation like cramping. I haven't been temping since the d&c, so not sure what's up. Keep us posted.

@bntfroggie do you think it was your period? It's so hard to wait to find out! Hope you get some answers...

I don't think so it started out with definitely old brown blood Which leads me to believe it wasn't, but I guess anything is possible. I was put on birth control a year ago last February for irregular periods so I hope the D&C didn't mess it up again or else I'm not only starting from the beginning TTC but have 9 months of reregulating my cycle ahead of me again.. I've been temping and haven't seen a spike it has been pretty flat lined, which it wasn't like that when I temper before. Ugh

Sigh...it seems to just be lingering blood from the d&e. I wish I had a chart that would tell me when I'd have bleeding and cramping, and when my next period would start. Even if it was unpleasant, I'd know what was coming and I could deal with it and count the days until things were back to normal. I hate the horrible unpredictability of this.

I completely agree @CarrieandRoy I just want to know my cycle is back to normal again. Believe me I'll let you girls know as soon as AF gets here.

Ha...@bntfroggie, I just found myself looking forward to hearing another girl got her period. Like genuinely wanting to hear that, and being almost excited about it. It's like AF is the new BFP. Small victories, I guess.

Same over here, just when the bleeding seems to be tapering off... I heavily start again, I only had very light bleeding for 3 (almost 4) days, but on the fourth day I was outside with the little ones at work, started gushing blood (sorry if TMI, but like I was peeing myself).  Had to run and started passing tissue again, at work.  Worst day at work, especially after thinking I was finally in the clear of the gushing blood.  Can't wait to get my period and for my body to go back to normal! Hopefully we'll all be able to say very soon that we've got our periods back - Funny, usually I dread the day I get my period... now I feel like I'll be smiling the entire week of my period...

This board helps so much, just when I feel down and alone with my experiences I come here and quickly I find comfort knowing that I'm not alone, and that I have others going through it with me, as crappy as it is that we all have to go through this at least we have each other.  Silver lining I guess.

Since TMI isn't a thing for us anymore...

Today is day 20 of my post-d&e cycle and I'm still spotting. And yesterday in the shower, something came out of me that looked like a piece of liver. I never got a good look at the clots that went in the toilet, but they seemed darker. This thing didn't seem like clotted blood. I'm waiting for a call back from the doctor, but they sometimes take days to call back. So frustrating.

In 20 long days, I've only had one day without any bleeding. Also, based on my temps I thought I ovulated on Monday, which had me excited for only two more weeks of this crazy cycle, but my temp went down again today. ...No end in sight.

@CarrieandRoy I was told that the tissue you would pass looks like hamburger meat, which is what led me to my decision to get the D&C, because first of all there are enough food things they compare to our bodies that I didn't want hamburgers to be one of them.  (ie, cottage cheese for yeast infections, egg whites for ovulation, and the size of the baby is every fruit out there.)  Anyway sorry for my rant, it sounds like you did pass tissue, but I hope you hear back from your doctor soon.  I'm sorry this has been so awful for you.

I definitely haven't ovulated yet in fact my temperature is dropping, but my cervical fluid (eww) is getting more clear so that makes me hopeful that ovulation will be soon.

@bntfroggie, I had what I thought was ewcm mixed with the old blood on Monday. That combined with a temp drop followed by a spike led me to believe I ovulated. But it went down today. Maybe I did ovulate, but my progesterone isn't staying high. Who knows.

The doctor's office just called and said if I'm still spotting on Friday, they want me to come in for an ultrasound. The saga continues...

I'm glad we have this forum. I don't think anyone else wants to hear about my cervical fluid or the strange things coming out of me.

@CarrieandRoy maybe you should get your hcg level tested? My doctor told me that as long as there is still tissue left inside you, your hcg levels won't drop to 0 and you won't ovulate. So if you get tested and it's 0 you'll know there's no more tissue to pass and that you'll ovulate soon. I'm getting mine tested in about a week. I understand the frustration of thinking you might have ovulated just to see your temps drop afterward. Same situation for me. It's frustrating not knowing when things will go back to normal

I haven't bled since Tuesday evening, so that's good news. And I've been charting on Fertility Friend and today it decided that I ovulated on Monday, even though my temp dropped again on Wednesday. I don't know if it's correct, but my temp is up pretty high today, so I'd say I ovulated either Monday or Wednesday. There was that random clot or tissue on Tuesday, which confuses things a bit. I won't assume anything for now. Hopefully my temps will stay up and I'll get my period soon.

The bad thing is that my husband and I had unprotected sex Sunday night, and I may have ovulated the next day. Totally irresponsible, I know. We used condoms before and since, but for some reason he convinced me to skip it Sunday night. Since I had started spotting again the day before I really thought I wasn't close to ovulating, so I caved. As much as I'd like to get pregnant again, I'd prefer not to have it happen when my body's not prepared. So fingers crossed for AF soon.

@CarrieandRoy I am SO glad your bleeding has stopped. I haven't started temping yet, although I did use one of my leftover cheapie ovulation tests just to see...got a line but it was lighter than the control line, so maybe I did ovulate last week.
Anyway, keep us posted.

Hmm, maybe I missed mine, I think this cycle is just a wash anyways and I have an ungodly long cycle anyways.  @CarrieandRoy, it takes two to tango :-)  I'll be thinking good thoughts for both of you ladies.
