@marijaa333, I'm soooo ready to be done! I know it's just a matter of days or weeks but I'm so miserable and would much rather be holding this baby in my arms than in my belly. I remember people telling me last time, "Oh, when you have a newborn, you'll wish she was still in your belly." But that totally wasn't true! It was much better having her as an outside baby than being pregnant with her, and I'm betting I'll feel the same about this kid.
@supersarah77 Haha, I feel the same but I *need* another month to get ready! It's good to know that your instinct the first time was right. There are so many things people say (along the lines, "you'll see when you're pregnant/in labor/have a baby, you will feel/think A/B/C") that just never sounded right to me. There is no particular direction either, i.e. some of the comments are negative and others positive... I guess people just want to share their stories...
Big congratulations @xuxachi! We're looking forward to a birth story whenever you come up for air. :-)
xuxachi - Congratulations! Glad to hear that you and your new LO are doing well!
On a side note, how the heck am I on this list already? I am NOT READY! The baby's room consists of a crib and a pile of unopened boxes. DH and I have literally not bought anything. The only stuff we have is what people have given us as gifts so far. Holy moly! Too much to do!!! I guess I better stop Bumping and go be productive. Yikes!
supersarah77 I totally agree with you. Pregnancy is a miracle and of course it's always an experience but when you're this far along it's just really uncomfortable. I can't even remember the last time I slept through the night. I can do anything without being out of breath. It's crazy. All this extra weight is driving me crazy. I feel disabled! I would much rather be off work with my newborn and my two other kids than be still here at work every day feeling like total crap. But he needs to stay put for another couple of weeks at least.
Good luck to everyone!! I can't wait to see pictures and read birth stories!
We are looking at an induction around 39 ish weeks due to bp if all continues to hold steady. No date set but I'm freaking out that it could be in as little as 2 weeks!!!
I've hit the "I'm going to pg forever.......I'm never going to have this baby....." Stage. Irrational I know. But there you have it.
