DH Preformance Issues

Hi Ladies! I've been a LONG time lurker and have never posted much here but now I really need to see if anyone has any advice!

My DH and I have been trying for almost 6 years and for the 1st time ever last week I finally got a BFP on my OPK on CD17, on Thursday. I was estatic and so was DH. 

So obviously we were super eager to BD it up but DH was not up to the task. 

He would lose his erection, or take forever to get one, or not a have a full one, and then take FOREVER to finish. It was terrible and humiliating for both of us. 

Normally I have a bigger libido than he does but we still manage to do it 2-3 x week and this keeps both of us happy. And normally he'll finish fairly quickly. It was so frustrating.

Any couples have a similar troubles? Anyone try ED drugs like Viagra or Cilas during peak times? He asked me to call his Dr. To see if he could get an Rx. They haven't called me back yet.

Do you tell your guy when your peak days are or do you just initiate? Maybe he was just stressed?

Anyway I'm freaking out during the 2ww! DH works all afternoons this week so I can't even freak out with him!

BTW Dx: Unexplained infertility/PCOS. Tx: Metformin and Femara.Chem Preg May 2013.

Hi! We have gone through this SEVERAL times! What worked for me was having something "new" around ovulation time. I would get a new outfit or toy or something to break out and surprise him. Instead of telling him it was time, I just broke those out so he couldn't resist! It made it way more fun for both of us. Good luck!

Good strategy @westiemom22 ! I think I'll have to try that too! We've experienced similar situations here. I'm on Femara, Ovidrel and Prometrium, with timed intercourse, preferably 3 days in a row starting the day of my Ovidrel shot. DH typically has trouble with the second day...fatigue, too much pressure, needs more time to 'replenish' reserves. It's hard because I don't want him to feel bad, but at the same time I'm going through a lot to make this happen (monitoring through ultrasound and bloodwork making me look like a drug addict for a few days each months, having to wake up at ungodly hours to do that before going to work). It's a tough one for sure!

Hi, newbie here. DH also has issues with low sex drive and performance anxiety. We agreed before TTC that during the fertile window (which he knows in advanced, per his request) we do whatever is needed to get him going: toys, porn, oral; what ever works to get him up for the task. 

We have been TTC for a few months now and the RE has me on the Prometrium, Femara, and Ovidrel, like the PP above.
