Pregnant with Breast Implants.....Size, breast feeding, sensitivity?

Any ladies out there have some fake boobies like myself? :o)

I got these last summer thinking I would end up a 36D ( I was an A) and I ended up being a 36DD. My first pregnancy in October ended in MC. I was 11 weeks and my breasts already got to E's!!! Do they stop growing at some point in the pregnancy or am I screwed?? Anyone have experience in this?? And if you got enormous like E or higher, where did you find bras? I usually wear VS, and when they measured me, they laughed and said they don't carry that big... oh lovely!!

Secondly... Anyone have issues with breast feeding after having them? My doctor says I wont, but I like to here from woman who have had experience!

And lastly.... My boobs lost some sensitivity to them since. During this pregnancy, they are only so lightly sensitive. Nothing painful. Is it because I lost sensitivity? I'm not completely numb or anything. Thank ladies!

 Happy Saturday!!

Re: Pregnant with Breast Implants.....Size, breast feeding, sensitivity?

  • I don't have implants but this is what I know.... With my 1st I went from a small C to a full C, 2nd from a full C to a mid-full D and with 3rd from a mid-full D to a small DD. This time I have lost a TON of weight so I am starting back at a small-mid sized C (DH is eager for them to grow again lol). As far as being able to BF.... it really depends on the surgery you had. If you had implants + lift it is unlikely but possible. The reason it is unlikely is because a lift requires them to cut around the areola which could potentially damage the milk ducts. Basically it depends on the amount of damage. You may not be able to at all, you may be able to but need to supplement, or you may be able to with no probs at all... If the implant is in front of the muscle I am not sure what your chances are, but if the implant is behind the muscle, with no lift and no damage to milk ducts your chances are good :) HTH.

  • I don't know anything about implants so I cant help there. But, I do have enormous boobs and I shop on Amazon for large sized bras. It sucks to buy things online without trying them on but I find that they have such a great selection and prices and I read all the reviews and make a decision and I've never had a bra I disliked from Amazon.

Also, you could find a big boob bra shop, get fitted, find a favorite bra brand/style then buy in on Amazon for probably half the price!

  • I don't have implants, but I went from a big B to a D while pregnant with DS and when breastfeeding. After I stopped producing milk they went down to a small B almost A. Boooo....
So you could easily get bigger, but you should be fine after everything is all said an done.
I'm getting these puppies fixed up after our second LO, and DH joked that if my back wasn't hurting then they aren't big enough. Yeah he got a punch for that.

  • I had implants over the muscle while pregnant with DS. Started at a D and went up to a DDD, they stopped there even when my milk came in. I never had trouble BF. I ended up with a staph infection from BF though, so don't let them tell you mastitis is no big deal.
