spotting in early pregnancy

Hi everyone! Today I am 6 weeks pregnant with my second child. For the last week ive been spotting brown and its very little, just when I wipe or a little on my undies. I talked to the doctor's on Friday and she said its normal but im wondering how long this lasted for some of you. Thanks in advance

I'm sure you'll be fine!! I've had a little spotting during first few weeks of my last pregnancy and I had a healthy baby. Sending positive vibes your way!

I had spotting with my first pregnancy...it was enough for me to think I had my period....a light one at that but it was enough. This time around I had spotting for 7 days. Very light and only when wiping. I had a successful first pregnancy and I am praying for a healthy baby this time around too! Try not to worry too much it will be ok!

As long as it stays brown it's ok. Try to take it easy and it will hopefully stop. I've had episodes of spotting during the first trimester of almost all my successful pregnancies.

I had a ton of spotting with my third pregnancy and she is now four years old!

The doctor wanted me to get blood work done today and then again on Friday to see of my hormone levels go up. Fingers crossed for a healthy pregnancy!!

As long as there is no painful cramping and the discharge is not blood red you will be fine!

I have been spotting.  Then two days ago it was more than spotting, but there were no cramps.  I went in and was checked out, everything is ok.  From what I am finding out soptting is normal in some pregnancies.

Same happened to me too. My doc said because of the increased blood flow just about anything can make you spot. He even said a big poop can do it
