How to get to doctors appts without telling work??

I'm a teacher, and my doctors office hours are basically the same as my school hours. I had a MMC in early September, so I want to wait until after the ultrasound before even beginning to share the news. But my doctors office has me come to several appointments back to back (confirmation of pregnancy, blood work and prenatal counseling, then 8/9 week ultrasound). I have no idea how I'm going to make 3 doctors appointments without spoiling the beans... Any ideas? What have yall told your jobs?

I don't think you need to explain or defend yourself. It's inappropriate for people to pry anyways. Im just simply going to tell my HR that I have appointments. If they ask why, just say it's personal and you're not comfortable discussing it.

I'm also a teacher and understand. Our boss is good about letting us leave early or come late so we don't miss much teaching time. I was expecting back in October but had a miscarriage. I decided to tell my Assistant Principal I was expecting. She's a friend and I needed at least one person at work to know what was going on...I was a nervous wreck when we thought we mighty loose the baby. It really helped having 1 person know how anxious I was and she was great about letting me leave when I needed to. Good luck. It's hard to keep things private around a large group of teachers.

In the past when I was actually interviewing for a new job and did not want my employer to know. I told them I had a tooth that hurt and had to go to the dentist..... them continued with the "tooth problems" through 2 more interviews. No one asked any questions.

Agree with the first response, it really isn't any of their business what the appointments are for. I simply told them I needed to make a doctor's appointment but tried to make the appointment for the end of the day so I missed as little work as possible. Once you let the news out they'll put it together
