I notice baby moves a lot when I'm hungry - coincidence?

I feel like the baby consistently moves/kicks when I feel hungry. Unborn babies don't feel hunger, right? I know they get active when you consume something sugary (hyper with high blood sugar) or caffeine, but do they get crabby with low blood sugar? Or do they simply get a constant stream of nutrients from the mom and don't experience a lack of nutrients/low blood sugar. I know it could be a coincidence, but I thought I'd see if anyone else feels the same/knows any more info. =]

I notice this too.. I notice the most movement when I'm hungry or right after I eat. It could just be coincidence, I don't know the science behind it at all but I think I read that blood sugar levels can have an effect on movement.

they are capable of hearing your stomach growl, so it may be they become alarmed from the sound or start to move away from the noise
