My ultrasound tec said boy, but I've read alot of posts on how somehow a "boy" turned into a girl by the 20 week elective ultrasound check... after she said boy; both my husband and I, and both our mothers still doubt and eve. Have dreams that we're having a girl! Is there anyway this could still be a girl? Only because like i said I've read alot on how swollen labia can be confused for a scrotum, the whole hamburger / hotdog , thing and suposivly 3 white lines mean girl and i see the lines. And i have a son already and his ultrasound sound looks nothing like this. Thank you.

  • It's a boy. I'm sad that you aren't embracing it and getting excited rather than having "wishful thinking". Boys are amazing. There are lots of people who would beg to be in your shoes.

I'm having a girl. My ultrasound at 15 weeks looked nothing like that. My ultrasound with DS was just like that.

The most important thing to me is that i have a healthy baby, i didn't have a sister growing up or any girl cousins, and my husbands sister passed from sids so we all wanted a little girl. But a boy is just a good. We have a son already and he'll love his little brother. Just kinda wanted to know how dress shopping and all that jazz would be like because were done having kids. But, thank you anyways! ♡

    .

    This.

I usually don't respond to post like this as I'm not a tech. However, this looks almost exactly like my sons US. This is a very clear shot boy.

I don't understand the "wishful thinking" in regards to the sex of your baby AFTER finding out. Congrats on your baby boy! They are THE best :)

  • I'm sorry you're feeling disappointed and I'm certainly not an ultrasound tech but that looks like all boy to me.
  • It looks like a boy to me, but my mother was told I was a boy from the get-go. She knew better, and sure enough, I was a girl. Granted, the US technology back then cannot compare with today's, but still. I understand being a tad disappointed if you had dreams of a girl. If it's meant to be, you'll have a girl, but I'm glad you're happy about your healthy baby boy! Congratulations!
