My girlfriend requested that I should get this app. Im so nervous! Im only 17 and have no Idea what you expect through out the next serval months. If anyone could please help me I would highly appreciate it!
First things. She will very likely be super tired and sleepy during the first trimester. During my first pregnancy, DH (dear husband) would drive us home from downtown since we carpooled. I would fall asleep in the car, and he would have to o carry me into the house because I wouldn't wake up. He would lay me down, make dinner, wake me up to eat and then help me get ready for bed just to do it all again the next day. That happened nearly every day during the first time trimester. O_o So try to be understanding. I'm a super patient my person, but when I was pregnant EVERYTHING set me off so if that happens to your GF, just try to understand that we as hormonal pregnant women don't always mean to be rude but it can happen. Another sweet thing DH did for me was he booked a total spa day of when I hit my second trimester. Facial, prenatal massage and mani pedis made me feel great! Try to do something nice that make her comfortable. She may cry at her changing body just let her know how beautiful she is to you. That can make all the difference. The most important thing to me that DH did was he made it to every appt. Even the terrible appointment where they test for gestational diabetes. He sat there and rubbed my back while I was drinking that sludge.
Being here is a great start, and you'll learn a lot from talking to a bunch of hormonal pregnant women. Good luck and congrats to y'all!
Edited for some crazy typos even though I'm sure I still missed a lot

It's all going to be just fine. My husband n I were 18 when our son was born and now 9 mo later we are expecting baby #2 in December.
My husband was terrified when our little one was born but now he loves being a daddy. He loves having his little man follow him around and call him dada. It's going to be hard at first and it will be a bumpy ride but hold in there it gets better
You are on the right track by staying informed. You should consider reading things like the Pregnancy Book for Men, it's short and full of pictures and a very easy read but it really will help you understand everything she's going through. She will be tired, and hungry, and in pain, and cranky and that is completely normal. Even if she seems like she's acting crazy a lot of it has to do with hormones so try to be patient and as helpful as possible. If she seems super grumpy offer her a healthy snack or a back rub instead of getting in a fight with her. Mostly right now she just needs your support, so try to be as helpful as possible, carry her backpack, keep her fed, help her with homework when she's tired, rub some cocoa butter on her, little things add up to make a world of difference and she will love you all the more for it.
