What's for Breakfast?

Ive never been a big breakfast eater but now that I'm pregnant and feeling a bit nauseated in the morning, it seems to be necessary.

What are your easy to eat favorites?

  • I'm in the same boat as you. I've been making some oatmeal in the morning and it helps keep the nausea under control.

  • Last night I started with terrible nausea. Today all I can keep down is a prenatal, some powerade and a few morsels of dry cereal.
  • I've eaten banana, crackers or granola bars.
  • Smoothies work well for me, cold and I can sip them in small amounts if needed.
  • Had a coke for breakfast. The only thing I craved!
  • Boiled egg with salt and pepper and butter. Mmm
  • eggs in a cup!! take 2 eggs, put in a little milk salt and pepper, stir em up in a coffee cup - microwave 40 sec, stir, microwave till done! super quick and easy

  • Protein!! It helps with my nausea. If you don't feel like eggs try a protein shake

  • Protein bars are my typical breakfast! Helps me stay full after the gym before work :) sorry you feel bad...hope it passes soon :)
  • Due to my 8 month old never wanting me to do anything without him, right before we found out we were expecting, I stocked up a little bit on some singles meals. The Smart Ones breakfast oatmeal thingies are fantastic though! I've been eating the apple-cinnamon oatmeal ones and they're just enough to get me through the morning and to not make me so full that I end up dealing with nausea.

  • I've found that protein in the morning is a life saver.  I tend to get a little dizzy and if I eat scrambled eggs or an omlet & some fresh fruit I feel so much better.
