Chemical pregnancy

I just got home from the doctors to find out I experienced a chemical pregnancy. I was around 5 weeks. I am so very disappointed. We were both so excited to be parents for the first time.. Anyone going through this now? Any advice? I feel like I'm still in shock.... Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry what you are going through. I had a chemical Sunday, Feb 1st and it was devastating since my husband and I have been trying from our first MC last April. I just found out I am pregnant again it can be very scary. Take time to grieve, wait the time your Dr recommends and just keep trying. I find online boards more comforting than friends right now. No one knows what I have gone through but other women online and it's good to have a support system without judgment or pity.

Just got the call and my HCG went from 58 to 84 and today 118. They told me to stop with the Crinone and I go back on Monday for another blood test to watch it go back to 0. This was our 2nd IUI. I'm so frustrated.

I believe I also experienced a chemical pregnancy. I started bleeding this morning with very severe cramps. I have an appointment with my OB at 9:10 to confirm, but I know my body and I'm pretty positive I experienced a chemical pregnancy. After trying for a year and finally getting a positive...I'm truly devastated.

I had one in February and felt horrible afterwards although it had only took place 2 days after doctor confirmed the pregnancy. But I remember thinking it's all for the better if the alternative is an unhealthy pregnancy /baby. They say its body's way of protecting itself.

Sorry you are going through this, I experienced the same thing last month, it was very upsetting and frustrating. Hang in there and keep trying, we got pregnant right away this month!

I'm very sorry for your loss. I have had 5 miscarriages at 4-5 weeks. I would say try again next month if your doctor gives you the go ahead and you are ready. A loss is never easy and you just have to try and take care of yourself. You also have to know there is absolutely nothing you could have done to change the outcome. Many women have a miscarriage and go on to have a healthy baby the next time. Try to stay positive and believe that you will have that same outcome.

I'm sorry for your loss, I have experienced two chemical pregnancies, one last April and one last November. I feel you pain and believe me it will get easier! So sorry xoxo

So sorry you're going through this. I've experienced 2 chemical pregnancies.  I just had my last C/P last month so know that you can get pregnant again and it is unfortunately very common.  Huge hugs.

Sorry you are going through this.  I had a chemical last Aug and I would be due in a few weeks with that one.  It was heartbreaking but know that you have a ton of support on these boards.  My significant other helped me out when he could but only time really healed.  Take the time you need before trying again and know that the majority of women go on to have healthy pregnancies afterwards.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I had a CP at the end of December. It can be so devastating. Just remember that people don't always know what to say, but they usually mean well (even though what they say can really hurt) Being able to be open about it with DH really helped me. Sorry for your loss. It's pretty painful. I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks in Dec and not over it. We found out it was a baby boy. My heart goes out to you! Keep trying, it will happen!!
