FF and spotting question.

so... I'm on CD48 of my first cycle off of HBC. I've had red and brown spotting for the last 3 days. My question is... when should I start a new cycle in FF? Does it need to be heavy bleeding to count as an actual period?

If you need a pad or a tampon, it counts as next cycle.
