ADVICE NEEDED!!!

Hi Ladies-

As some of you may know, I have been posting over the last week about my disappointing first appointment.  My OBGYN just called back and said:

Thursday 3/36: hcG 4,061 

Saturday 3/28: hcG (a little over 7,000)

He said the numbers didn't double, but were still in normal range so I'm going in for another US on Wednesday.

What are your first thoughts?  I was holding onto hope, but I just feel it all slipping away.....

My numbers were always slow to double. I went to an RE, so I was tested every other day. Once your HCG gets over 5000 the baby should be visible by ultrasound. My doctor said they still test it after 5000, but rely on the ultrasounds. They only list HCG 5000+ in the lab results. They quit giving the actual number. I now have a beautiful DD. So don't give up hope.

If it's rising, and your OBGYN isn't worried, I would take that as a sign that you can relax a little bit.
