Low hcg with negative hpt

Has anyone had any experience with low hcg and gotten a negative hpt a week later? I believe I was at the doctor the day I was having implantation spotting on 3/19/15 and my hcg was a 33. I was tested 5 days later on 3/24/15 and my numbers were only 43, I go back tomorrow and will get results the next day buy I'm still getting negative hpt. The doctor is telling me not to worry because he says I'm super early and can't decide whether my numbers are good or bad yet.

I got my first positive 3 days ago and went to get my Hcg blood test done and they told me my level was 5 but that could be from being early I'm really hoping it goes up but I'm not sure why your not getting a positive and I did at only 5

Are you using a digital HPT? They are not as sensitive as the non digital kind.
