I don't really like Emerson for a girl.  My friend named her son Emerson.   Chace also sounds like a boy hehe--BUT sometimes people give girls boys names like Randy or Bobbi or something...just try to imagine her growing up with that and always being mistaken for a boy. Do you know the sex for sure yet?

I would spell it Chase...and for me I don't like when people give their child a first name but say they're going to call it something else. If you want to call her Chase I was just name her that.

I like Emerson. I had it on my short list for a boy but, I shorten everything and the most logical nickname for Emerson to me is Em. I think it would be a good name for a girl. Don't put too much stock in what everyone else thinks though, gotta go with what you love.

Is Chace said like Chase? Is there a meaning behind your spelling?

I love it for a girl- but I love gender neutral names and love boy names (certain ones) on girls! Makes for a strong kick-ass woman!! If you like it- go with it

Personally, I like Emerson for a boy and that is what we will be naming ours if it's a boy!

I think the name is cute, for a boy or a girl. There are so many names that can be used for either sex, and people just associate it with the person they know that is that sex. My advice? Don't share your name choice around too much beforehand, to avoid all the opinions! If you just share the name once the baby is here, you get a LOT less negativity. :)

I think Emerson is cute for a girl and a boy! For some reason after reading Emerson Chace I automatically thought of Emerson Grace! Chace is cute, even alone it's cute :) go with what you love!!

    Emerson Chayce maybe?

I like both Emerson and Chace for girl names, but I agree with spelling it different. When I see Chace, I think that someone misspelled Chance.

I love both names. I prefer Chase but I think that's a boys name. You can do Chace if you want, I think the previous spelling of Chayce was pretty as well.

My girl names if one of my twins or both are girls lol they could be either Briar or Paisley. I already have a daughter named Leighton ❤️ she's the only one in her school

I know a set of twins girls name chase and Reece, which both to me seem like boy names but they sound fine for girls as well :)
