Toddler Bedtime

My 17 month old has .not been sleeping through the night for about a month now.. he use to sleep so good. I don't knwo waht to do. He will wake up crying and as soon as we go in there and lay him back down and make sure he has his paci he goes right back to sleep.. How do i get things back the way they use to be.. I would do the cry it out like we did when he was littlier but he is in a big boy bed and will just climb out.. Any Advice??

    seems like a lot of kids go through an icky sleep phase around this time. dd did... friends' dc did... my son is starting.. only he wouldn't just take a paci and go back down. I was up with him from 12 to 3 last night. wanted to rip my hair out! lol.  Like all things, this, too, shall pass.   just stay consistent with how you react... paci, lay down, walk out.
