So, there are always discussions about weird advice and weird cravings... but what weird pg/baby gifts have you received?
Of course, I'm asking because I got one This weekend, MIL, who is an artist, gifted me with a sculpture she made of a nude pregnant woman (like, it's supposed to be me).

He settles her in her home as a happy mother of children, praise the Lord! (Psalms 113:9)
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understand, will guard your heart and mind in Jesus Christ (Philippians 4:7)
So, is the sculpture of naked you going on the fireplace mantle?
My BFF of 32 years gave me hand-me-down reusable nursing pads. As in, she used them first. I'm sure others might think that's weird and gross but I actually don't! I guess because we're so close. I used them while nursing DD and plan to with this LO, too.

I literally LOLed at this!
I don't think I've received anything weird ... yet.
That is hilarious! What did you say? I think I would have had a hard time not tripping over my words with that one. I haven't received anything weird yet. My dad's girlfriend gave us beach towels when I was pregnant with my son 6 years ago which was a little bit weird but she was a total weirdo anyway so it was just to be expected. lol
People have said weird things to me. I had a lady walk in to my office yesterday and need to speak with me and she was super nice and asking me about my due date and if it's a boy/girl etc. But then she's like oh you should totally make sure your name has been changed to your married name on your house/property before the baby is born! I was at the bank today and they told me that's the most important thing! I was like umm ok.. well I've been married for almost 10 years so my name is pretty much changed everywhere. It was just kind of a weird thing to say when you're in your HR office discussing your leave. lol

Haha, yep... putting it right out there (or maybe tucked away on a shelf in the bedroom). Thankfully she had told DH she was working on it, so I could prepare my reaction... would have been totally awkward if a complete surprise!
And I'm all about used items for baby... but breast pads are toeing the line a little bit
