Hair highlights

i am getting married next weekend and want to have fresh highlights for the photos. I haven't dyed my hair since before I knew I was pregnant and my mom is freaking out about possible consequences to the baby. My doctor said it was fine and I'm almost 15 weeks so I'm past first trimester. Also my doctor said highlights are safer than all over dye.

Any opinions or experience?

I dyed my hair at week 10 from black to red, Doc said it would be ok.

I'd go for it, especially if it's your wedding day. A girls gotta look her best

If it's highlights and you're getting them in foil it won't touch your scalp. It's fine!☺️

I got highlights last week at 13 weeks. Highlights are only on the hair, doesnt even touch the scalp, plus my doctor said it wouldn't hurt. Neither does manicures!

I've been a hair stylist for almost 9 years! Getting your hair colored/highlighted while pregnant is completely fine. I've done my research on it year ago and never found any studies that link any problems during pregnancy with getting your hair colored! 

Highlights are typically done in foils, so you're good there. The only thing I would watch out for is if you're over sensitive to smells and the odor from the color is too strong, but other than that... you're good to go!!

I just did mine last week-- I did highlights and everything was fine! And I feel so fresh ☺️
