Amazon mom confusion?

I have a membership as an, amazon student member. I was browsing some baby items on amazon and a screen popped up that said with my prime membership I can join for free. Here's where the confusion comes in, I read the terms and conditions and it's not clear if I have to pay a $49 joining fee or not. It said I'm not eligible for the free trial because I'm already a prime member...so I didn't sign up yet since I'm not actually purchasing anything this early. I was just wondering if anyone has experience with this?

I agree with PP. Open up a live chat and speak to someone. I hate calling anyone so I always use the chat feature. I'm sure they're super helpful via phone as well if you do like speaking to someone directly. I have Prime but haven't used this mom service. I have friends who have it and they LOVE it. But I personally don't know details and fees.

  • They recently changed their Amazon Mom policies, like the others have suggested open a live chat. I have had amazing customer service with Amazon. But if you do plan on using Amazon Mom, it is so worth it. They also give a nice percentage off for their completed registries.

  • I added amazon mom (already had the amazon prime with student) and I don't recall being charged at all...unless I just didn't notice the charge but I think I would have gone through a checkout or something.

  • I don't think you get charged for Amazon Mom subscription if you're already a Prime member.
