13 months and tantrums?

She has always been so easy going and happy.  She has gone through phases of clingy to me, but over the last month became easily redirected by DH.  But this past week, she has started throwing fits when told "no" or if I put her down, or just about anything!  SHe used to wake happy with shrieks of excitement, but since beginning to STTN in the last 2 weeks, she wakes grumpy.  No signs of teething.  Please tell me this is a phase.  I generally ignore the fits and she will eventually get bored and go play so I am confident it's behavioral... please tell me this won't last until she's 3!!!

Our son is going threw this now. If I put him down, he cries, wants to be near me all the time and cries if I tell him no too.. I'm hoping it's just a phase.

We're going through the same thing - our once happy daughter is now fussing all the time, constantly wanting to be held, throwing herself on the floor when told no, and screaming her head off when either of us leaves the room.  It's made for quite a long 2 week break with her over Christmas.  I'm hoping it's stops for us all soon!

Must be normal...mine is doing it too and I was wondering the same thing! Puuuuleeeeze let this stop soon. We were actually thinking about having another soon and my DH said the other day, "Do you think about what it would be like having two right now?" I immediately said, "ok, we should wait!" It can get so hard when they are in the bad phases!
