If you feel comfortable and you have female coworkers, maybe you could ask them for suggestions. Otherwise... maybe Yelp? Sometime insurance companies allow people to rate providers on their websites. You may just have to try one and decide if the person and office feels right to you. The Bump has some suggestions here about things you might want to consider and look for with a OBGYN. Also, you should make sure that the doctor does in fact do obstetrics (babies) not just gynecology (a focus on the female reproductive organs).
I will see if some of my co-workers have any suggestions. Other wise I will try yelp, thank you. I do want a doctor who makes me feel comfortable instead of being creeped out by them. You have been great help, thank you so much.
If you know which hospital you'd like to deliver at, I would start there. Most OBs deliver at specific hospitals, so if you have a preference for hospital, you'd want to make sure your OB delivers there. Then you could contact the hospital for a list of OBs who deliver there (this may also be available on the hospital's website). You can then google the OBs to try to find reviews on the clinics and specific OBs ... that's how I found my clinic and OB.
Lawrenceville, GA? My obgyn is Dr Lemuel Villanueva, he is really good! This is my second pregnancy with him. I trust him entirely, I can ask him anything, and he has a lot of experience. He delivers at Gwinnett Medical in Lawrenceville.
@jen83mn , I will do that. I didn't think about that. I will definitely look into, I just know that when I did search some people didn't have anything good to say about some obgyn's and others didn't say anything at all.
