I found out about my little bugger just a week ago and am between 5-6 weeks (I've had two ultrasounds but because I'm too early to measure the fetus pole the docs still won't confirm) and so. very tired. I've worked 15-17 hour days for the past two years so I'm used to functioning on zero gas but now I find I can't keep my eyes open, and needless to say my mind sharp, at work anymore. Any other Mamas going through this with me? If so, how are you coping? My schedule won't be unloaded for another 4 months so any tips you may have are appreciated!
Welcome to one of the greatest pregnancy symptom. It's sucks! It does lift in the 2nd tri, but hits again in the 3rd. My advise just try to get use to it.
I work 12 hour shifts. Sometimes they are slammed and we are running around with like mad. 1st trip is exhausting. Try to drink water and take short brakes often. eating a well balanced diet can help too. But morning going sickness never let me do that. just know it gets better.
