is anyone else having an issue with giving your LO's bottles? Every bottle I try to give her now is turning into a huge struggle. I've spoken to our pedi about this and she said to continue to try to give her 24 oz a day but that's not happening. If she ate more finger foods I wouldn't be too worried but right now she's only interested in playing with everything I give her (except for purées, she loves those). Anyone else?
J is eating less from his bottles in the last two weeks. He was taking 4 oz each bottle at daycare and now they're only getting about 2 oz each time (which is distressing for me since I go through a lot to pump what I do).
We used to do 7oz bottles 4 times a day. I've tried adjusting the amt and the time between bottles but that hasn't helped. She just doesn't seem interested anymore. I'm wondering if now's the time when we should start transitioning to whole milk. Maybe she'll actually want to drink.
I haven't tried a bottle since I stopped working. I will say she was never into puréed food but does better with solids. I worry about how little she eats as I think about weening her.
C has stopped nursing as much and eats a lot of food (most of the time). We still do a lot of purées bc she doesn't always like the texture of finger foods. Lunch meat is always a hit though. I would say she eats about 6-7 ounces of food at a meal.
Mine never took a bottle but did eventually get the hang of a sippy cup. However, yesterday she wouldn't take that either, so I switched to a straw and she loved it!
Idk if it's the formula or the bottle to be honest. I guess we'll just keep trying the sippy cup. I'd love to be completely done with the bottle when she turns a year!
