i guess i feel less worried about the shadiness since i took any identifying information out of my account profile. but how much i'm around depends on what everyone else decides to do...
This is all I've got for slacking off and I really like seeing cute babies, hearing about what everyone else is going through and sharing my experiences... Im pretty certain I am too new to be accepted into the FB group, so here I stay until the bitter end.
March siggy challenge: Dream job = Playing with wolves
I have been here since the beginning but hadn't posted in a while...and they won't let me in. Lol. I feel like the stinky kid at school. J/k, it's all good. I guess I will stick around as long as it picks back up. It seemed to be going good for a while then died the other day.

They wont let you in? Pretty snobby, definitely not something I would want to deal with anyway then! (As I burn my bridges with that comment)

Lol. I did take like a 5 month hiatus of more lurking and less commenting when my son was having bad GI issues. With that and going back to work, I just didn't have the time. I am assuming not many people remember me because I didn't have a pic at first. Oh well.
We may be few, but I think we can band together and still help each other out. I know I appreciate being able to check in here and just hear from other mamas. We got a late start on this whole family thing, so our friends' kids are all between 6 and 18! I really enjoy having internet friends to talk about life with a 10 mo old with! So, here we are and I plan to stick!

Same here with the late start. Most of my friends also have children who are much older. I do have two friends who all had their babies within the same year, but I was the first and am kind of their pioneer since I have already been through that. Its nice to have the support Im getting on here by people who are where I am!

I was thinking about leaving but I changed my acct info so I feel a little better now. I introduced myself at the other place but it's even more dead then here. I think I'll stick around and see how things go

I'm planning on sticking around. I love having an outlet where people I don't know are willing to tell me if I'm totally crazy or basically normal. I need validation.
I check this like 10 times a day every day since like August 2013, and am a total lurker! I never commented much because there seems to be quite the etiquette around 'message boards' and I had no experience. So as I watched people get flamed constantly, including myself for asking a Nanny question, I got more nervous about posting.
I'm old, I have an 18yr old and a 10 month old full time job, so I just watched. I have to say though that I really love this group! I realized I had preg induced carpal tunnel, round ligament pain, and restless leg all from here. I also learned about age appropriate toys kids love, BF, BLW, etc. It is nice to have a community where we all have a baby the same age.
I just want to say there are probably more people like me, and I would love to keep this board alive!!

This is kinds me as well. I am DD is my second and final baby but I have been around on TB and The Nest before TB was even created. and I go in stages of when I am what I consider pretty active or more of a lurker. I mean I post when I actually have something to say but have been primarily a lurker from the beginning of A14, chiming in here and there. I also will go for weeks or even a months when I get too busy and don't really check it. I have more time lately so have been more active but now it seems so slow around here.
I like here better. I deleted my FB account a couple years ago when I was doing IF treatments and felt very lonely and depressed. Even though I miss the old timers, I'm not willing to do FB again. I try to post when I can, or at least check for new topics.

Also miss lurking the flamings. When I first found the Bump, I thought ladies here were really mean, but the more I lurked the more I understood and really came to enjoy those wonderful women!
