Due to character restrictions at TB, I could not post the following description to the first post. Here it is:

"This check-in is for anyone who is past their 2nd IVF cycle (including any FETs) or if you have suffered multiple losses. If you have done at least two cycles (even if you didn't make it to ER or ET) this place would be great for you. After multiple failed cycles we aren’t as chipper and full of sunshine like we were during our first or even second cycle. This group is intended to give us a safe place where we can vent, update, obtain info, and bond with other veteran IVFers. If you are currently cycling or waiting on a cycle this group would be a great place for you. 

And because we know that things can be very uncertain early on, we think that our "BFP graduates" should still feel free to participate until they feel comfortable graduating into PAIF.

@zeynsom thank you for updating our list! And I'm so glad that your betas rose so beautifully! When is your u/s?

Now, I need to be moved back to "in between cycles." I was on the "cycling" list for so short a time. We cancelled my current IVF cycle on Sunday on day 6 of stimming because I only had the two large follicles and about four or so smaller that the RE didn't think would catch up so I would just have two mature follicles for ER. I was always a little worried how this one would go, since we were doing the microdose Lupron again and I had a terrible response to that with my former RE, but I'm glad we tried it, since based on my most recent AMH, it looked like MDL would be a good choice. I didn't get any pressure to continue with it (which I know my former clinic would have) and I go back on Thursday to meet with my RE about a new plan. I don't know if that means I'll get to cycle again in March, but I hope so, since I'm really ready to get back into the game after all my lifestyle changes!!! 

QOTW: I adore Mexican food and I could eat my go-to meal: chicken tacos, cheese enchiladas and Mexican rice and refried beans every night. If I'm limited to just one food, I would probably go with the chicken tacos.

Hello everyone! Nothing new here. Still on break waiting for the "all clear" to start IVF #3. RE wants to do some retesting so I'm expecting to start that soon. I'll be calling this week for our repeat SA appointment because the 17th is our 3 month mark on clomid for DH continued prayers that it works and helps our embies to survive this time!! Waiting is just the worst but I feel like IF is all about waiting! Good luck and we'll wishes to everyone this week! @zeynsom‌ what we're your latest beta numbers?? Hoping that everything doubled quickly and on track!! Just want to say "yay" again! !

@Carol77B I am sorry to hear that the cycle is cancelled! That is a bummer. I hope you can start soon again. The waiting game is the hardest and I agree @fayth4one IF is all about waiting and it sucks!

AFM: I have had nicely rising beta numbers over the past few days. Wednesday was 158, Friday was 391 (doubling time 36 hours), and yesterday was 1187 (doubling time 46 hours). So, everything is on track for now. My DH and I will drive to Chicago this Thursday (about 8 hours) to get a doppler u/s at Dr. KK's office on Friday (she has a special machine apparently). It will be 5w1d of the pregnancy and I am hoping that we can see the sac (or sacs?). I guess it can still be twins. We transferred two and my beta and doubling times are consistent with both options. After that I will have an u/s at my REs office on 6w4d, and hope to see some strong heartbeats then. And only then I guess I will feel a bit relaxed.  I feel like I am constantly on pins and needles. IF sucks!

QOTD: I can also eat Mexican food every night for multiple weeks and won't get tired!

I am sorry about the delayed cycle @Carol776.  

I went for my second monitoring appt this morning.  Measuring 11 follies between 4 and 16.  I was hoping for more, but I am fine.  My stinking left ovary is just plain lazy!!  

I have a small rant....I had a new nurse today at my appt to review my med for the next 2 days. She just made me feel uncomfortable.  I felt really confident when I went to my monitoring appt on Sunday (with my normal nurse), and today I lost my confidence.  UGH....new people.  

They added 2 mg of estrogen 2x a day today.  I asked the new nurse if it was because my lining was not good (bc that is why I thought they had you take it) and she said no, and couldn't explain why they added.  What reason would they have added it?  My lining was 7.9.  Does anyone know??

@berries555 that is so lame about the new nurse. I would want to know why the addition of the Estrogen, too, since I never started estrogen before ER. Did she tell you that at the appointment or when they called with your b/w?

So @Carol77B‌ my clinic doesn't do b/w. They just do u/s monitoring. I think it is strange, but when I ask all of the staff say that it is their protocol.

So I just got back from my u/s....and I only have 5 follies between 19-15 right now.  One is 11, two are 8 and one is a 9.  I am SAD.  I was really hoping for better numbers.  They scheduled RE for Sunday.  I will call tomorrow to find out what time to trigger.  UGH.  I thought I would get better numbers this time.  Oh well I guess.  My lining was measuring really well at 11 mm.  I have stims tonight so maybe they will kick things into gear.  

My RE reviewed the policies with me...and normally if you only get 6 embies...they do a 3 day transfer.  BOO.  I don't want to do a 3 day!!  He did say that if things look good they will push it to 5 days.  I feel like I am failing before I have even started.

berries555 Did you ever get an explanation for adding the Estrogen?

I had my mini-WTF with my RE this morning after my cancelled IVF due to just the two follicles growing. He thinks we should move to natural cycle IVF but will try stimming me again (I told him now that I had been thinking I would get to do CCS that I *really* want to try to get enough embryos to make it worth testing).

We are going to try a "Stop Lupron" protocol and then Gonal-F and Menopur and HCG trigger. I have to wait for AF this month and ovulation before we start the Lupron and he will want a month off between ER and FET, so looks like Lupron in March and stimming/ER in April and FET in June. But, because he agrees that the problems with this cycle were likely related to AF being early and only being on the Estrogen for a couple of days (and the IVF before was cancelled with my former RE because I had one dominant follicle, almost certainly due to no suppression that cycle) if AF is at all weird, we are going to wait another month.

I'm feeling pretty depressed about all this. My RE seems very confident that if we can't get me to respond well to stimming this next time that natural cycle will be perfect for me, but that usually takes a couple of tries and I don't know how many more tries I have in me, which makes me more upset and depressed. And the timing just seems so far out. Plus my MMC was from an IVF in June with an EDD of March and I am not excited about repeating that timing.

Anyone have any experience with a "stop Lupron" protocol?

@Carol77B The explanation was the nurse messed up!!  She should not have had me on Estrogen.  However, they are going to keep me on it, bc they wanted me start after retrieval.  Nice huh?  

Also I am sorry you are depressed!!  I too am coming up on my anniversary from my due date from MMC from June FET.  Big hugs to you!!

Well....things turned around for my ER.  They retrieved 12 and of those 12, 11 looked mature enough to fertilize.  I should get my fert report this afternoon.  Hoping to get a good report.  That is way more than we were expecting.  The yoga must have paid off.
