FFFC - Let's hear 'em

FFFC = Flame Free Friday Confessions

Time for Friday confessions -- they most likely will not be flame free.

I have been side eying a lot of women (and their questionable choices) on this board.

I'll be so glad when the crazies and trolls shake out. I'm already over it.

This except add white knights to the list.

I know what trolls are but What is a white knight?

I know the responsible thing to do is wait to share the big news, but I want to tell everyone! I'm so excited. I've probably told too many people already. I'm a really open person so keeping this secret is tough.

My confession is I told my BFF before my BF X_X

Yesterday, less than 12 hours after writing here that I would keep my pregnancy a secret from everyone for as long as possible, I cracked and told my best friend. I am weak.

It's not a responsibility thing. The first time I was pregnant I told some friends. When I ended up mc those same friends where there for me and I'm grateful for that. It's really about who do you want knowing your business.

White knight: a noun. Someone who defends the party "being wronged". Likes to use phrases like "we're here for support" and "we're all moms". Typically also ends up bowing out early.

I've probably told too many people too :P I seem to be way more comfortable telling people who don't matter and I'll never see again (The lady I'm buying thomas the tanks from)  but can't seem to tell my brother or my grandmother. How ridiculous is that?

I'm not looking forward to having a newborn in the house again. Getting up every 2-3 hours is just not for me.

I totally agree. I haven't really jumped in because it's so crazy over here so far.

FFFC- I am already over people who try to tell other women what to do because they are "worried about their baby", when we all know that someone giving unsolicited advice on a forum ain't gonna change a damn thing.

I still drink coffee. There are certain things you're not supposed to do but some of them I just can't take seriously. It's not alcohol or illicit drugs, just caffeine.

I'm eating Ben&Jerry's Phish Food for dinner tonight because my "morning" sickness (which is off and on all day) started as soon as I woke up and when I got home from work and took my bra off--OWWW!!! So I need something to cheer me up. Oh, and I skipped the gym today. So bad...but feels so good...

It's not really unsolicited if they ask for it. I'm glad you dropped your nice girl act. We're gunna have a fun 8 months together ;;)

I sneak upstairs and pretend I'm filling the tub for my daughters bath but I'm really just on Facebook or this site. Oh and I still drink a cup of coffee in the AM.

I told my bf I was on the pill but he was pulling away so I got preggers on purpose lol! I wanted another baby anyways!

Things that irritate me so far from being on pregnancy forums include:
    1. "I've had 2+ sexual partners in one week, who is the father?"
    2. Asking if you are pregnant as if any one of us can say yes or no. Take a test.
    3. Any type of myob thread which includes but is not limited to vaccinations, circumcision, breast vs. bottle....ect.

And this friends is how you go straight troll status.

Either that's or we'll end up seeing a moose knuckle on a not too distant episode of Maury

I vaccinate my children. I never actually said that I don't, I just made a sarcastic comment that I`d let  my kids decide if they want to be vaccinated. Which is just silly if you really think about it. I thought all the attention I was getting was entertaining, so I never bothered to correct anyone.

My confession, which is really more of a statement, is I just found out today we're pregnant and I'm more excited than I ever thought possible but at the same time I feel like a child playing pretend... Like I'm back to my baby-doll playing days. But this is real. A real baby. That I'm going to have to take care of. That will depend on me. And I'm now talking myself more and more into being scared beyond belief...

Wow I had such a long day at work today! My confession: I had to do a massage at work today (I had the hour free and the scheduled masseuse was sick) and I hate doing massages so I put my Bluetooth headphones on put my iPhone on the shelf and I watched the season finale of parenthood. Tee hee.

It didn't hit me the weight of this new roll until I was at ds's one month pediatrician appt. I was reading their policy about vaccinations and was like "holy shit I make decisions that effect this kid's entire life because I'm his mom!" and it was really at that moment that I realized the responsibility of what being a mom really is. Don't worry it'll hit you when it needs to and you'll be great.
