Tired and labored breathing

10 weeks to go and I'm tired all the time and I breath like I've just got finished running miles. Is this normal? I'm think about a second nap today.

Re: Tired and labored breathing

  • Yup. Normal.

  • Normal. Be glad you're just noticing this with only ten weeks to go.
    Baby girl Lila born 2013.
    Baby boy Henry born 2015.
Expecting our capstone baby (boy) early March 2018.
  • I've been tired and out of breath since about 16 weeks. You're lucky as hell you're just getting it now.

*Rolling my eyes and backing away slowly.*
  • Good story.

    Pregnancy Ticker
  • Everytime I walk the staires at work I am puffing for air lol. Oh the joys of being 28 weeks pregnant.
  • Call your doctor. Or google. Both could have told it's normal
  • For a serious answer yes it's normal. I feel like I can't catch my breath all the time. It gets worse. Towards the end you feel like the baby will go through your rib cage.
  • Some shortness of breath is normal....how bad is it?

I can tell you from personal experience that I had bronchitis which turned to walking pneumonia which I dismissed as being pregnancy related.    Despite the dismissive responses,  not all shortness of breath is normal.

    Take care of yourself.

  • The last couple of weeks I started feeling out of breath just resting in bed. I started to worry because it wasn't a normal kinda feeling. Last week I had labs drawn and it turns out I am pretty anemic and started taking supplements for it. Being anemic can cause you to feel extremely exausted, dizzy when getting up and short of breath. I actually almost passed out a couple times. Check with your doctor and have your labs checked!
  • Checking in to see how the OP is feeling :)

She's clearly too busy figuring out why she can't breathe to return.
