Trying to Get Pregnant

New here and TTC

I've lurked for a while now and while I have seen fantastic posts that address a few a of my issues but I'm still getting concerned. I'm not sure I can pinpoint exactly how long we have been TTC but I know how long we have not actively been not using birth control. I have been off of hormonal BC for over 4 years. We haven't used condoms in 3 years and we stopped using the pull out method 2 years ago. While we were not deliberately TTC, we were not trying to prevent it either for the last two years. Around 6 months ago we informally started trying to be more active around ovulation time and I have been tracking my cycle for 8 months. We also started using pre-seed a few months ago since I do not seem to produce any noticeable CM. I also started using the LH test strips this month. My OB wants to do a post coital exam and I am debating it. I used to have bad ovarian cysts as a teenager and I took the Depo shot for 3 years but my doctor doesn't seem to think that either could be an issue. I am about to be 28 and this is the first time I have ever TTC so I'm getting pretty worried and discouraged. Any advice would be appreciated!

Is it my imagination or are some posts missing from this thread?
I've noticed this on a few threads. It will tell me there is a notification, then it won't have the user there.

Thank you ladies! I am still struggling with this concept. Rationally, I think it is time to see a specialist but I still can not bring myself to make an appointment yet. You spend so much time in your young adult life trying not to get pregnant that it is weird to not be able to get pregnant when you want to lol. My OB thinks I might have hostile CM so that is why she suggested the post coital test and after that some type of insemination. Honestly, I am hoping for a more natural method of conceiving. Does anyone have any other suggestions for conceiving naturally? I am not beyond old wives tales at this point....

I've been trying TTGP for 6 months now. Just started to look into dietary options as an intervention. Maybe another option for you?
