How would you define "take it easy"

So to keep a long story shortish. I ended up having to go to the hospital last night, due to a severe headache and abdomen pain (I was told a billion times to come in if I experience these symptoms). So my BP is still rising, even on medication, and I still have trace amounts of protein in urine. I kinda feel like I'm riding this line cuz my BP wasn't quite high enough to be a huge problem, and there wasn't enough protein in the urine to admit me. Which is good, cuz my RCS is scheduled for Wednesday.

Anyways, the OB on call told me I need to take it easy. At 2:00am, I really didn't ask what that meant. My interpretation is kinda like "couch rest", avoid doing anything really intense. Any suggestions? How would you define it?

  • Yes. This. Hang at home, nothing exciting. You get up to pee and eat. Find some Netflix marathon of some show you wanted to see but never started and watch the crap out of them! Wednesday is right around the corner!

Testing found positive cardiolipins/APS, now on lovenox and intralipid infusions
Transfer of 2 5-day blasts and (FINALLY) BFFP!! 1st ultrasound shows two sacs and two HB, but one is sluggish, almost expecting vanishing twin Subsequent ultrasound confirmed vanishing twin, but my other Little critter looks fantastic!

Yes, I agree with PP.  Sit on the couch, avoid any chores (laundry, cleaning, cooking can wait - - unless you have someone else to do it, 'cause that's ok).  Someone to help with DD is essential, as toddlers may have trouble with the concept of "Mom needs to take it easy."

But take showers, get up when you need to walk around (but don't lift anything heavy), eat at the table - but mostly become a couch potato with books, tv, knitting - whatever calms you most.

GL - Looking forward to an update after Wednesday's RCS.  :)
I agree with this. Hopefully you can get some rest and things stay ok until Wednesday. Good luck!!
