Is it really "never too late" to start breastfeeding?

Ok so I had DS 7 months ago, and only breastfed him for about a month. I've gone 6 months without breastfeeding. But for some reason, my left breast is still producing roughly 1/4 of an ounce a day and the right one is just giving a few drops, but it's still producing. HYPOTHETICALLY SPEAKING: If I were to start pumping every 2 hours, could I get my milk production back up to where it was before and start breastfeeding again?
