I got some body cream with coconut oil I read it's good for stretch marks and hydrating the skin and it's also good and helps the uterus if u eat coconut oil... looks like I'm cooking with coconut oil
Whether or not you get stretch marks is based almost entirely on genetics. Feel free to slather away, but if you're predisposed to stretch marks you will get them no matter how much goop you use. It can certainly help with the itching once your belly begins to get bigger though.

My mom had horrible stretch marks from her three kids. My sister and I have next to none. She's had 4 kids and I'm preggo with my 4th. I have two tiny ones that no one else would be able to notice from my first and never got any with the others.
I used olive oil on my belly at bedtime. And yes, the moisture DOES help with the itch! Whether or not my sis and i were just lucky, I'll never know. But I firmly believe that genetics only plays part of it. Same as your weight. Part genetic. Part lifestyle.
My grandma had 9 kids and didn't have not one stretch mark ! And my mom has them . It all just depends on the elasticity on your skin. To bad I wasn't one of the lucky ones either lol
I know that getting stretch marks has a lot to do with genetics, but I slather myself up with coconut oil anyway. It's the only thing to keep my dang skin from being so itchy!
No products will prevent stretch marks, but there are plenty of good reasons to hydrate yourself inside and out so lube up! Coconut oil is very good for you to eat, but I don't know if it does anything specific for the uterus. I use coconut oil instead of vegetable oil (for higher heat when you can't use olive oil)
