Clara Edna?

I got my BFP yesterday

I think if this baby is a girl we're pretty set on Clara.

I'm just having middle name issues.

It's my turn for the middle name to honor my side of the family and I would like to honor my paternal side, but the pickings are slim.

My late grandmother was Marie Edna; I don't want to use Marie since it's my sister's and my baby niece's mn.
So I was wondering if Edna was useable? Won't hurt my feelings at all if it sounds awful.

If not, what do y'all think of Clara Robin? Robin is my father's middle name.

I was going to say Clara Robin is better, but the more I say Clara Edna out loud, the more I like it.

I like Robin better only because Clara Edna end with the same sounds. It rolls a little easier.

I love the first name Clara, I think it's pretty for a child and for an adult.

I'm not really feeling Edna, but it's not bad.

Yay for your BFP! How exciting!

I agree with previous comments that Clara Edna is too sing-songy to be paired together. Would you consider Edna Claire and using Clara as a nickname? 

Or, maybe use another E name to honor Edna, like Clara Elise or Clara Eden...

Congrats! I love Clara. I don't like the sound of Clara Edna or Robin but since it's family, I would use it.

Clara Edna is ok. I know it's a family name, and I'm not a fan of honouring people with a name that's almost their's but isn't, but how about Clara Edith?

I'm so so about Robin. I would go Clara Edna over Clara Robin.

Clara is beautiful and I love it with your girls' names.  Clara Edna is nice but Clara Robin is sooo pretty!

I prefer Clara Robin but I don't think Clara Edna is a deal breaker.

I'm so so about Robin. I would go Clara Edna over Clara Robin.

Funny you mention Edith; we have considered it but it's actually DH's grandmother's middle name and we have already honored her with DD2's middle name.

I may just not force the family name thing and go with Clara June. June isn't a family name, but the month DH and I were married so I think that will be significant enough.

I love Clara, but I'm not a big fan of Clara Edna. I like @dreadpiratebuttercup‌ suggestions, as well as Clara June. And congrats on your bfp!

Congrats! I LOVE Clara, but I'm not crazy about it with Edna. I do like the significance of Edna though. What was her middle name? Nvm. I can't read so good. Clara Marie is so pretty! Sucks that it's been used so frequently.

I think if the name is special to you, you should use it. I wasn't crazy about how my dd's name sounded, but wanted to honor my mom. I now love how the name sounds.

I love Clara, but not with Edna. June in the middle spot flows beautifully, and I love its significance to you and your husband. That being said, I wouldn't side-eye Edna given its importance to your family.

I know this is stupid, but I cannot disassociate Robin from HIMYM. I hated Robin. She was a tool.

Clara Edna doesn't do it for me, although I love the sentiment behind it. Clara Robin I like and Clara June is wonderful.

Congrats! Clara is amazing, I don't love it with Edna or Robin but I love Clara June! And I also like what pp said about doing a variation of Marie.

I like Clara. I'd pick a middle name with a different ending. Edna sounds odd.

Clara Edna is ok, it's kind of rhymey/singsongey and flow the best. I'm not a fan of Robin though, so out of those two I'd still go with Edna despite not flowing well. But I love Clara June!!!

Aw, I kind of love Edna and wish it had better flow with Clara. Its OK, but if flow is important to you Clara Robin is gorgeous and has meaning, so that's pretty special too. Congrats!
