NBR: movie suggestions

DH and I were going to try and go on a date night tonight, dinner and a movie. I would love to see Marley and me but I know with my emotions I'll wait to see it at home. Curious case of benj button looks good, but don't think I could sit through 3 hours right now, I'll fall asleep! Any other good movies out there you can suggest?

Re: NBR: movie suggestions

  • Bedtime Stories was excellent!    I also enjoyed Yes Man.  If you  are an emotional wreck, dont't go see 7 Pounds...it was a great movie, but i needed a box of tissues.

  • I asked around at work today about the same thing. Lots of people said 4 christmases was good- got rave reviews with Marley and Me (a tear-jerker regardless of pregnancy status, I hear), some people said the one with Meryl Streep and William Seymour Hoffman was good. We took my former babysitting charges to see Bolt this weekend- was very cute and funny- but I sadly did cry during this one too due to the hormones!

  • Just got back from valkarie and it was pretty good. And I am not even into those types of movies. It is a good see. Marley and me was great, i cried for last half hour of it.
  • We saw Yes Man (Jim Carrey) a few days ago... very funny!

  • Bolt is a great movie.  I think it's still in theaters.
  • Okay, if you cry alot right now DO NOT GO SEE BENJAMIN BUTTON! I bawled for the last entire hour (you don't notice how long it is because it is so good), and then I cried for an entire hour after seeing it!!!! Bedtime Stories was great, I laughed so much during that, and also The Valkylrie was really great too! I had to pee so bad during that but COULD NOT get up! lol

  • You must must must must must go and see Slumdog Millionaire. I am just over Brad Pitt and this movie was AMAZING!
  • If you haven't seen Four CHristmases yet, it's really really funny and totally pregnancy safe :) Unlike Marley and Me which is WAY too sad if you're pregnant.
