Husband has celiac disease and ttc

Hello everyone, I'm just wondering if anyone has success stories or tips for me. My husband and I have been married three years and we are ready to try to get pregnant. I got pregnant for years ago with my husband and we had a miscarriage. Does anyone know how much it can affect us and any tips to help. I also have endometriosis and I'm in the navy so we have some hurdles to get through but would love to start our family. Any suggestions are very helpful!

As long as your husband abides to a strict gluten free diet it shouldn't be an issue. Your endo is a much bigger problem.

I have never heard of Celiac causing any fertility issues at least personally. I am sure I could google it and find some however the endo is probably your biggest issue.

My husband is celiac as well. It *can* effect fertility. There are studies showing that it can lower sperm count, but that doesn't mean he's infertile at all. I would talk to your OB and keep trying. Good luck!

Just wanted to let everyone know, we did h visit a doctor and husband did SA and it turns out he is perfectly health. It's my issues that we have to work through!

There is plenty of research showing celiac can cause infertility. However, if he is very strict with the diet and has healed it shouldnt be a problem at all. Its easier for men with celiac than women when it comes to fertility.
