CD3 lab results...a small gif story

Ladies I'm just kinda annoyed/super sad. I won't lie. I got my lab results back and I just don't understand...

So here's the information I have for you:

March 2014 (CD3)

• AMH --.58

• FSH -- 7.5

• E2 -- 35.5

November 2014 (CD3)

• AMH --.58

• FSH -- 7.5

• E2 -- 35.5

January 2015 (CD2)

•FSH-- 9.2 (cue grumpy cries)

• E2-- 17 (cue wtaf cries)

I'm  SO pissed that my FSH has gone up, and I'm confused that my E2 dropped so far. I don't know really what the E2 "means" in TTC terms, but I sure as shit know what the FSH means....and that number is on it's way to the bad lands.  

I am none too happy. Considering Dr. Google led me to a website that said any FSH over 10 has "significantly decreased live birth rates", I ended up ugly crying for a good 10 minutes. 

I guess I just wanted to know if anyone has any advice/opinions/thoughts on the rising FSH/dropping e2 levels along with my AMH. Should I request an AMH redraw? 

 I don't want to google anymore. It makes me super stressed out, and very sad. Give it to me straight, I can handle it.

(((Hugs))) honey. Have you talked with your doc yet to see what they think? They may not be worried or they may want to redo the tests next cycle.

Staying away from Google is a good idea but you might ask your doctor if there is other hormone related tests that should be ran in light of your changing numbers.

The nurse didn't seem too concerned. She said that the doctor signed off on it and marked it as normal. I said that my FSH has gone up and she said that she would review it again, and speak to the doctor. I'm just concerned because of the low AMH that I have, and the fact that the E2 dropped by half and the FSH went up. It's just all so unclear, Ya know?

I agree with pp to stay away from Google!! I know it's so hard but you need to talk to your doctor about what he/she thinks. I can't remember my exact numbers but my e2 was definitely different cycle to cycle. ((Hugs))

I know it can be frustrating and tempting to over analyze everything but it doesn't sound like your Dr is too concerned. Hopefully the nurse calls back with some reassurance

You ladies are the best. All the hugs have made me feel so much better. As for my RE and what he thinks--The nurse said he is unconcerned now and that we are going to keep moving forward with this round of Clomid (50mg). We will see how I respond, and hope for the best. Worst case scenario I have to do another IUI and we try injects (I spoke with him about these at my u/s appt but he said that we should give Clomid one try, and that the injects are $$$ so we'll try the cheap route first). Today is CD4, and my second day of clomid...here's hoping! Grow Follies, grow!!!

 I feel like all of your hugs are like a thunder shirt for dogs to calm them down  )

I just double checked my blog from back with the IVFs and such - my RE always wanted FH below 12, my last IVF I was at 9 and the didn't mention any concerns. My FSH was in the 30's like your earlier readings. Forgive me as I'm mobile but have you been doing anything lately to suppress estrogen levels in prep? Or is this just natural? All I have is that before IVF they want it below 100. E2 obviously increases each day toward ovulation and should be between 200-300 per mature egg about to ovulate so depending what day in your cycle - if you are say cd3 when it was tested most recently compared to getting testing done on cd4 the other times could change the number.

(((Hugs))). If your RE is unconcerned then I would go with that. Higher E2 can artificially lower FSH, but numbers that are out of normal ranges are E2 > 60 and FSH > 12. You are well within those parameters. Don't fret.
