Name Sighting

Conall

It was on the name tag of a maybe 16 yo guy at my pharmacy.

It's Gaelic for "strong wolf."
Like it? Hate it?

I like it, but I tend to really like Gaelic names with cool meanings.

  • It's ok. I'm not a fan of most Gaelic names nor names that start with Con. Not sure why but I just don't like the sound of it.
  • I love it almost as desperately as bromios
  • I love it too. Knew a Conall once too. Real handsome guy
  • I love it, especially the meaning.

    The meaning is badass. ;)

  • At first glance and pronunciation I did not like it. But I love the meaning. Not sure which way to go on this one.
I've had the same struggle with a name I like, "Keir" but it means "little dark one". lol

I would pronounce it CON uhl (wish there was a way to type a schwa). Like Donald with a C at the beginning and no D at the end

Thanks! That was pretty close to what I was saying. I think I was giving it more of an AL than an uhl, but it's definitely better with the "uhl".
