Interesting article about making a C-Section more "natural"/meaningful

Like many of you, I hate the use of the term "natural," since of course all birth is natural, but this is a woman who planned a med-free, low-intervention birth and then found out she had to have a C-section. It discusses how she made the experience meaningful in something of the same way for herself, and I thought some of you ladies might like it!

  • I asked if I could watch my c section. They told me I could but I wouldn't see much based on the angle I would be at. My nurse took our camera and photographed my csection for me.

The hospital I will be delivering at does skin to skin right from delivery just like with a vaginal delivery.
