Baby Magic stinks, right?

My boyfriend's mother bought me every baby magic product ever made for Christmas. She was all "I used this on all my kids, it just smells so WONDERFUL!!" When I smelled it, I honestly thought she was playing a joke on me. Then her youngest (12 year old) opens a box that is also full of Baby Magic products.. The kid is like, "mom, why?" Boyfriend's mom goes on to say she loves the smell SOO much, she wants her 12 year to use it too.. Am I the only one who thinks it smells wretched?

My MIL is the same exact way!! She loves the original scent but could never find the shampoo anywhere, so I surprised her by ordering some off of Amazon. She says every time she smells it it gives her flashbacks to when my BIL and husband were babies. I guess that's sweet, but I had to pretend to like it because I, like you, didn't really enjoy the smell all that much.

I've never used it, so I have no idea what it smells like. Would it be strange if I started opening the bottles to sniff it the next time I'm at the store?

I've smelled it before but LO has eczema so we stick to aveeno. No scent to it. Kinda makes me sad a little

I really like the yellow baby magic wash. I thinks it's like fresh powder scent or something like that. Looks like I'm in the minority but that's ok.

I had a very similar experience when I got pregnant with my first. My coworker was obsessed with that stuff and surprise got me a huge bottle. I opened it and about gagged. I regifted it

I actually like it! The original pink bottle smell. I was the oldest of 4 and helped my mom a lot growing up . It takes me straight back to the 80's and 90's life was good and it gives me warm fuzzy's. But I'm nolsalgic like that

I like the nighttime one. I think I use it for my baths more. We use aveeno mostly though.
