Where to deliver dilemma

Hi girls!

I live in West New York, and am trying to choose a hospital. The closest hospitals would be Palisades (10 min Walk) or Hoboken, but I haven't heard great things about either.

I am closer to New York Presbyterian than Hackensack so am tossing up the idea of delivering there.

Any advice? I'm a FTM and also just moved to the States in September so this is ALL new to me! I have no mommy friends so no one to ask for advice/recommendations.

I am only 5 weeks pregnant, but wanted to find an OB for my first appointment.

First I want to tell you make several doctors appointments with different doctors, because finding an OB is like finding a mate, you don't just choose the first one. See what hospitals your insurance will cover and then ask people in the waiting room
What they think of that hospital. The mother baby unit is very different than general population. Good luck.
