Chart/TTC Again Conundrum

Ok, I have been trying to wrap my head around what is going on with my cycle/chart and whether we should continue TTA or go back to NTNP. I really need some advice/opinions/insight on what is going on/what should we do. I have a feeling this might get a little long-winded.

Here's my chart link for reference......now lets get weird.

The good news is AF arrived yesterday, which I am happy about. It's currently only noted as spotting on my chart bc I wanted everything on one chart until I could talk to you ladies and possibly clear up some other questions I'm having. Here is where my problem starts...on cd37 H & I had sex for the first time post-D&C. Afterwards I went to the bathroom and there was bright blood everywhere; I'm talking ALOT. Also a large clot almost the size of a tampon fell out. I had continued heavy bleeding and a couple smaller clots throughout the rest of the day followed by heavy spotting for the next two days.

Was the bleeding on cd37-39 AF or (as I suspect) was it retained tissue?? **should also note that on cd32-34 I had very severe cramps/pain and small clots that I had to take pain meds for. 

At my D&C followup appt, my Dr. recommended we TTA for 60days, which I asked him to clarify if he meant truly 60days or 2 cycles bc in my case the two are not equal. He then said 2 cycles. So which is this? Did I just finish cycle 1 or cycle 2?  :-/ :-/ 

I'm chalking it up to this was the end of cycle 1 (bc honestly a 70day cycle is pretty good for me). But I want to hear what you lovelies have to say especially the fellow CT conductors. I've got my big girl panties on so give it to me straight.

That's a tough one.  I'm inclined to agree that you should count this as 1 cycle.  I think you should watch and see how your body reacts to sex, etc. over the next cycle to make sure there is no more retained tissue.

Hi lady,
I'd have to agree with your first inclination, that this is the end of the first cycle, so I would wait for one more before TTC. Coming from one lady with crazy-long cycles to another, I know that's not easy.
You could also call your Dr and see what they think, but I would guess that they would err on the cautious side.

....well this brings up another possible issue. I had some brown spotting on NYE, but it seemed to have stopped the next morning.  My bleeding/AF started after h & I had sex that afternoon. soooo it's possible that this isn't AF either *sigh*

You're correct....no u/s. No betas either; I did take one HPT like 4-5wks post D&C and it was a super squinter (honestly I think I stared at it so long I'm not sure if it was a line or not).

 

 

-------- And HOH know this already but in case it matters, at my followup my Dr didn't do any type of physical exam just basically a Q&A session.

I know love. You have PCOS and need to be treated for it. NTNP with the length of your cycles is brutal emotionally and psychologically. There is treatment for it love - you know that. I also know that you are likely scared out of your fucking mind. It sucks, getting testing, getting treatment, it all just sucks. BUT, we are all here to hold your hand when you feel ready.

I don't have PCOS so there is probably more to it on that side, but the RE isn't that scary, really.  I always feel knowledge is power and I like to feel like I am being proactive.  You should make an appointment - you'd probably feel better doing so.

Lots of ((((hugs)))).  I agree with your assessment that what you passed earlier was probably retained tissue but it is hard to really say.

I also agree with PC. It's time. An RE will give you a plan of action. That is a good thing. They will also give you some options on what they think should be done about your PCOS. That is also good.

I agree with PPs. I think this is end of cycle 1. I've been having a very similar experience since my D&C on 12/5 but haven't reached AF yet (you're a little ahead of me). But I passed a few big clots at about 2 1/2 week post d&c and then my bleeding let up. I had some more brown blood with sex but nothing continuous. I hope this IS your AF and not more retained tissue. You haven't passed any more clots since you a H had sex NYE, right? I'm thinking that's just old blood getting let out. FX!

I'm just now seeing this. I agree with PPs and your assessment to TTA.

 I also agree with Pink, you need to see the RE. Take this next cycle and make your appointment. If you want, I can give you the good, the bad, and the dirty. Text me, PM me, whatever. PCOS sucks. You know I love you, but it is time. I have a whole speech prepared if you need it
