how long are we visiting for? Over christmas we've popped all our close family for 1-2 hours, today we are visiting the ILs and having dinner there, my idea was to go down early around 11.30 am, have dinner and leave not long after to get back home and relax for the rest of the day. My partner rang them to let them know this, his dad's reply was WHY?! As if visiting for 4 hours isn't long enough? Am I unreasonable to think 4 hours visiting is plenty of time?
