Cleaning products?

I need to clean my house before my family comes on Friday. Can anyone share suggestions for cleaning products that are safe during pregnancy but are effective?

Clorox, Lysol, Febreeze.... just don't huff them.

But if you're super worried...I clean everything with white vinegar.

  • We started using Green Works products a few years back which are safe during pregnancy.  Quality wise they work great and do not have harsh fumes.

  • We use vinegar, baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, on almost everything. But as long as you're not huffing it or drinking it almost any cleaner is ok.

  • Vinegar and baking soda. Or Dawn.
Oh yes, this. I just cleaned my shower with the spray bottle of dawn and vinegar and my husband was impressed. Normally he uses a bleach product and it smells awful for days in there. This stuff cleaned so easily while I showered even.

  • I second the vinegar, baking soda, and Dawn. These three products clean better than the harsh commercial stuff without all the weird chemicals. Plus, they are WAY cheaper!

  • Vinegar and baking soda. Or Dawn.

I love the vinegar/dawn shower cleaner but I don't use it anywhere else because it suds so much! I feel like it takes forever on the sink because I have to go over and over it to get the suds off. Am I doing something wrong?

And OP we use green works too.
